Awards Committee

The Association has two categories of awards, which are usually conferred during the Annual Meeting.

The Award of Merit is given to persons who meet the following criteria:

• Is a current or former Association member 
• Has shown exceptional leadership in public health nursing. 
• Has made a significant contribution to public health nursing at the national level. 

The Recognition Award is presented to persons other than current or former Association members who have provided exceptional service either to the Association or to public health nursing.
